I’ve stopped posting on the blog. This is not because I’ve forgotten about it or because I can’t be bothered it’s mostly because my former writeup are now going in video form to YouTube.
Whats been going on?
- Lots of TAFE assignments
- Finished Heavy Rain
- Bought Dragon Age: Origins
- Upgraded to Wireless-N and Gigabit Ethernet
- Repeated listening to Across the Universe
Why so many dot points?
Because, as previously arranged – I’m now v-logging instead of typing. That there dot-point list is just a summary of what I’ve talked about in some v-logs.
Company updates:
Basically because clients can’t be expected to watch videos I’m still writing up updates for the company. Here they are in short succession:
- There’s been 2gb more ram purchased for WCS1@beaconsfieldit.net this totals to 10GB ram. WCS1 has recently had some lag and theres a few new clients on it so it was due for an upgrade.
- There’s now 2 more redundant backup drives for WCS2 making it the same as WCS1.
- The LBN has been reduced to 35 GB quota so ITF users will need to watch there usage. The LBN is a end-of-sale system, the quota was reduced because of inactive users.
- Wireless-N & Gigabit Ethernet has been added to the LBN and DBN. This service still limited to 5000 / 900 but inter-connectivity will be faster.
LBN stands for “Local Broadband Network Access”
ITF stands for “In The Field User”
DBN stands for “Drop-in Broadband Network”
These updates will also be put into our RSS feed on the website shortly.
